Hello, I'm Purvish.
I am a Ph.D. student at Purdue (ECE) working on efficient deep learning.
I am supervised by Dr.Yung-Hsiang Lu and Dr.James Davis.
I design neural architectures that are both computationally efficient and accurate.
I attempt to answer the following questions:
- How can we create faster models such that: fast models ≈ slow models — in terms of accuracy (broadly defined)?
- How can we allow models to allocate compute as needed?
I am interested in:
- Efficient/Dynamic Architectures.
- Knowledge Distillation.
Some adjacent interests include:
- Self-supervised and representation learning.
- Model scaling.
